or, maybe a Billy Bumbler. That's a dark Tower reference and if you haven't read that series by steven king, I highly recommend doing so! it's fantastic.

Good tip. Radio 4 did an excellent interview with Stephen King a few days ago, I really enjoyed listening to his views on writing and his twisted sense of humour.

A wolf. Or perhaps an Indian tiger. A tiger might be a bit difficult to fit under a seat in a theatre or on a bus though. I think I'll stick with a wolf. As close as they are to wolves, German Shepards rock. YAY! German Shepard Power!

A moderately sized african elephant.
It could carry stuff for me, hell, it could carry me for me.
It wouldn't fit on buses, but it would sort of negate the need for buses, and render trafic much less of an issue.
It would be a very brave stranger indeed, that would pat my guide-elephant without asking.
Taking it to the beach or the park would be more fun than is probably legal.
But mostly, I just want to take it with me for back-up, when asking lecturers for extentions on assignments. *g*

...Iternity,

You really ought to have placed this BOARD under JOKES!

Trying to visulize an Elephant walking the Streets of Detroit/Michigan/usa...

for like an Elephant is the symbol of the GOP, in other words the REPUBLICIANS...
Now, the Donkey symbolizes the other Political Party.. NOT the Green Team...GO GO GO Ralph Nadar/Consumer Activist... rather umm them there DEMOCRATES.

**Wondering WHY not an Australian Elephant for Poster #10 Resonant, after all in profile/Written is stated Perth, Australia as your location... Maybe Africian Elephant would desire to stay in Africa..???? Maybe not..???? **Just thots considering... (CG)

...LaMusiqueDuSoirTristeEtBelle,

A baby cubblet Tiger would probably be small enough to fit close by you... Careful for even the little of ones gotts them there claws and all...Softie though...and probably Mama Tiger would desire to be close at hand and all... Yeah, them German Shepherd doggies can be something... Here Wolfie Wolfie...***Listening intently...THAT gr'gr'gr'oulll was it from a far distant Wolfie, that nearby doggie or umm that BUNny that is part Tiger that seems to be hungry...Tummy Growling you understand... *Gotts Salad..?? smile.. i'd like a guide horse, a little falabella, nice that. in fantacy land though, a tiger would be great!

Post 14 by maroon five (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Tuesday, 28-Nov-2006 6:47:46

If I could choose an animal to guide me other than a dog, it'd be a horse. I love horses, and if I got sick of walking, I could just ride it.

Post 15 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Wednesday, 29-Nov-2006 7:30:04

Hmmm! I think it'd be a horse or a lion for me if I chose something other than a dog to guide me.

Post 16 by SensuallyNaturallyLiving4Today (LivingLifeAndLovingItToo) on Thursday, 30-Nov-2006 9:55:09

Oooo, or a condor. I love birds of pray. It could ride on my shoulder. In a crowd it could fly ahead of me with a bell and a leash and it could look for ways around people and obsticles. It could fetch things that I would drop and it could carry messages or go get help if neccessary. It would certainly intimidate any would-be mugger or rapest. Either a condor or a gaws-hawk, they're beautiful and they can be very loyal to and bonded with humans. Or maybe a falcon.

Post 17 by NoahsMommy (guide dog girl) on Friday, 01-Dec-2006 3:22:03

if I had to choose something besides a dog it would be either a cat or a pigme puff

Post 18 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Friday, 01-Dec-2006 6:50:09

i'd choose a horse, then i could just be lazy and ride everywhere

Post 19 by maroon five (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Sunday, 03-Dec-2006 4:05:29

Grate minds think alike. My horse would have a saddle on it at all times, and it could also have a saddle bag, so I don't have to carry things either. Of course, it'd still be able to guide me.

Had a friend once who wanted a lobster. She said it could hang on with its claws to her ears, and pinch just a little harder to tell her to turn.

Personally, I want a monkey.. not necessarily to guide me... but hey whatever happens.

Post 21 by DeviousAngel (Generic Zoner) on Tuesday, 02-Jan-2007 22:14:34

Hmm, think I would choose a snow lepard, or a wolf, or a golden retriever, because I love those dogs. They come second to german shepherds.

Post 22 by Daenerys Targaryen (Enjoying Life) on Monday, 24-Nov-2008 19:32:36

I would want a wolf or a tiger or a horse so I could ride it.
